Biography
Dr Kenneth Loon is a highly skilled and experienced Colorectal and General Surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes to his patients. He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland before undertaking Advanced General Surgical Training at the Princess Alexandra and Mater Hospitals.
Following his training, Dr Loon completed advanced sub-specialist Fellowships in Colorectal Surgery at the Alfred and Cabrini Hospitals in Melbourne, the Austin Hospital, and Westmead Hospital in Sydney — building unparalleled depth of expertise.
He is deeply committed to medical education, holding Senior Lecturer positions at the University of Queensland, Griffith University, and the METC Institute. His research has earned him the General Surgeons Group's Best Clinical Research Prize and a prestigious Travelling Fellowship to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
